He is working hard and doing two or three sessions per day, so we are rehabbing him as hard as we can. He's making good progress and we aren't ruling out a possible return for the Toulon game, which is in line with our original best case scenario, although he still has some way to go yet."

After undergoing surgery on the injury he sustained in the 38-18 defeat to New Zealand,Rob Kearney will be out for several months confirmed by The player's Magners League club Leinster.

For the Six Nations opener against Italy on February 5,Rob is still unlikely to be fit for the game even with a swift recovery.
